The “Take-
Dear God, I praise you and thank you for the gift of your presence, your love, and your life offered to me now. I am sometimes (often times?) overwhelmed. I experience chaos around me and within me. Help me to not thrash about or to “coast” along the path of least resistance, but to stop here and now and turn to you. Help me to trust that you are with me, and that I can live immersed, not in chaos, but in your loving presence and power. I take some time to open myself to you, to receive your buoyant Spirit, and to rest in your presence [take 10 minutes or so to be silent, just seeking to “be” and breathe in the presence of God].
I thank you for being with me and alive in me. Helpm me throuhg this day ahdead to reject the ways ofcoasting, and to ive receiving and rejoicing in the your presence, your love, your light, and your abundant life. Help me to help lift others up into your love and light and life. I choose you and your way for me. Amen.
